Had an idea, though its a selfish one so feel free to veto.

The beastie is about to burst in on Jamie, Nikki and Smith. When it attacks, might it swipe at Nikki, catching her arm, and revealing the cybernetics? This may also shock Jamie, as he may not know technoligy but has seen the cybermen many times. It also gives Nikki a reason to scream, because i don't really want her to be the sceaming companion! Razz

We do have one advantage, the beastie will be somewhat weary of Jamie after the last encounter.

Do we want to kill it now, or leave it wandering for a bit longer? It doesn't make much of a difference in terms of the story.

Ok, that’s the beastie dead and the rocket stopped.

The next stage is to evacuate everyone into the Tardis, which will mean some fun traveling through the time distorted corridors. Then we’ll need to turn the time-reactor thingy off. The Doc will take us long as, given we’ve all travelled in time, we’re semi-immune to certain time effects (see Flesh and Stone, season 5 for example). During this shut-down procedure the Doc will have to go inside the reactor, while everyone else will have something to do outside.

Oh! Oh! Oh! What about my TARDIS? Are there dire consequences to bringing one TARDIS inside another TARDIS? Like putting one bag of holding in another bag of holding? If we have to leave it behind it can show up now and then in time and space, like Terry Pratchett's "The Luggage"

There CAN be bad consiquences for a tradis materialising in the same space (a Time Ram), but a good pilot can aviod those. There is no trouble actually having a tardis inside another tardis. And, given we'd have to carry your's manually inside, no need to wory about it crashing.

As for why we take it with us, maybe the Dr could suggest we need extra power from it in order to escape.

Yeah, I think its more bar-shaped than TARDIS shaped. Like there's couches in the center and the controls are behind the bar on the left and far edge of the wall as you go in the door. It could be an older model, or an experimental model that never got put into production except this one. What's that called....a concept "TARDIS"? You know, get the young people interested in school again? Wink

So! What more needs to happen in "Time Storm"? Mae, Caity and I watched "Battlefield" with the 7th Doctor and we are thinking that the next epi should TOTALLY be the first half of that episode--you know, all that Arthurian-alternate-universe stuff that the 7th Doctor said he may have done/possibly will do in the past/future.

We also think Anselin needs to be a companion or a very awesome NPC. BECAUSE HE'S AWESOME!!!

Sorry, we are on Battlefield high. What do you think?

I'm surprised Maeglin didn't remember this as we did discuss it, but there is a plan to do the whole Battlefield alt-universe, as its own mini-serise.

I wasn't wanting to start it up until the game was up and running properly. Tbh, that probably wouldn't be until after ep3, as there are certain plot things that need to be 'dealt with' before we can roam freely! Razz

Originally my plan was to have each mini-serise take place between main serise (i.e. between 1 and 2 would be battlefield, between 2 and 3 would be 'The Empire of Zagreus' etc), but we can ignore that if people want.


As for Time Storm, you seem to be under the impression that it's over? Despite the fact that the onrushing time experiments are threatening the whole universe? And you were just going to leave? *shakes head*

Ok, well first i'd say we need Sara's reaction to the Tardis (bigger on the inside and all that), then we need to

a) save the personel
b) stop the experiment

The Doc will set up some kind of temporay stablising field that will allow us to do both: point a) by taking the people into the Tardis, and point b) be heading to the main labority and shutting down the experiment temporal reactor.

During b) the doc will be forced to go inside to shut it down, and then they'll be a npc post for when he gets out.

THEN we can happly leave!

Megan was telling me something of the kind, which is why I asked Razz I wasn't sure how set in stone the episode outline was. So while I would like to have "Battlefield" next, I can do whatever everyone else wants to. That's just my preference! Razz

Also, as far as Time Storm is concerned, I wasn't sure if everyone had finished--I jumped to the conclusion that when we all piled into the TARDIS that the Doctor had already finished saving the day and what not. But all that you said makes more sense! Which personel are still alive that we need to save?
