Welcome to the thread for
Supernatural: Reanimated,
"Fuel"

In which our heroes, having narrowly escaped the clutches of a fear-devouring djinni, pursue a hunt Elenna Fee tells them is in Chestertown, New York: where there is a hunt afoot, but not the one Elenna has her mind on. As the hunters investigate routine werewolf behavior and begin tracking the beast, Elenna becomes more and more distracted, insisting on a ghost hunt at her former high school…

See here for more information on the Supernatural RP, or contact Maeglin, ArielButtercup or MissAusten with any questions.

Disclaimer: We tend to be a little more informal around here (as well as infernal): lax with customary RP rules, rough with our language, and generally sacrelicious. We ask only that you play nice, stick to SPN canon, don’t be (too) mean, and do everything in your power to make the game fun for everyone.

Happy hunting!

This changed dramatically when his little baby sister was born. He was himself still a toddler, but he was the most overprotective big brother you ever met. He adored his little sister, and loved her each day more than the day before. He knew his sister was a little weird and she got weirder the more she grew up, she believed to easily for a girl in all kind of ghost stories. And she must be weird when she speaks fluent Latin and Ancient Greek just for fun.

Nick was a sports junkie. He loved football, lacrosse, baseball and basketball. He even played on the lacrosse teams in high school. He played the guitar and sung quiet well. Nick planned to study sport medicine to become a physical therapist.

“She needs my help. She might not be able to see it, but I have to help her. We belong together, we are the dynamic duo. The others have to go. She won’t go with me when her team just dies. She has to want to leave them. And I’ll make her to want this. I will make them to hate her. They won’t recognize her. She won’t be the good girl before she comes to me forever.”

And he had already started. She was waiting impatiently for the others. She was changing from the sweet good girl, into a real b*tch. And he enjoyed it. But this was just the beginning; his real work would start in Chestertown.

They had worked hard at keep each other up all night. The cuffs were a trick she definitely had to try again. It was dawn now. Aly cuddled into his arms as if ready to sleep, he tickled her thigh to keep her going. She had never felt pleasure that many times in one night. Usually it was the post-bad-case desperation and then alcohol induced sleep. This had been...different. So it wasn't her true love, but her body couldn't care less at this point.

He kissed the back of her neck getting a deep moan from her--more of a "too tired for more" moan than "need you again" moan--but if he touched the right spots there was still the possibility.

The sharp honk of a horn downstairs made them both jolt up in bed. She already loathed the thought of another 14 hr drive as sore as she was right now.

"It's barely seven...please tell me that isn't Lenna."

He grabbed for his pants. She flopped over on her back her eyes rolling closed. She didn't want to sleep, but it was calling her loudly. She smiled as she felt his lips trail over her legs and tender spots before lightly nipping at her neck. Her body was still tingling from the passion they'd shared making every touch that much more intense.

"Sorry baby--gotta go hunting."

She groaned and sat up. He tossed her underthings up to her from the floor.

She looked at them and sighed. She only had three pairs of clothes and all of them were suits. She left the jacket off now, but still.

"I need to go shopping." She frowned.

"What, and ruin your FBI frumpiness?" She smacked him with a pillow. He sobered up a little. "No problemo, baby--consider me your credit card."

"Well, now we're talking." She slipped into her dark blue slacks and pulled on a white button up shirt. She flipped her hair over to pin it up as she stood and went over to the mirror.

Aly flashed him a grin as he came over to "help" her dress. His hands found their way under the white shirt and tugged playfully at the lacy underwear.

"That's how I survived all the FBI frumpiness--prim on the outside..." She bit lightly into his ear. "Sexy on the inside."

His lips found hers again disrupting her efforts to tie her hair up.

The honking started again. Aly and Rome sighed.

She finished buttoning her shirt while he took care of their mess and packed her few belongings.

His hand snaked into her pinned up hair as they stood by the door, both finally ready to go. He pressed his lips to hers in a kiss that already contained hunger only letting her go when they dropped their suitcases. Her hair was down again. She sighed and laughed.

"Leave it down. I like it."

She blushed slightly and tucked it behind her ear. They exited the room and headed down to the rest of the group.

Caleb's eyes felt like hot coals on her. She hadn't done the walk of shame since the Academy. It didn't get any easier.

“Come on guys move it.”

Lenna was standing next to the Mustang, her yearbook was back in it’s the box in the trunk, but the blanket was still on the back seat. Finally after an eternity they all came downstairs.

“There you are. What the hell did you do so long? Here I have coffee and bagels for breakfast so we can eat on the road. Unless you I am up since 2 hours, I found some possible things that could be our job in the high school. So can we go?”

Lenna spoke without taking a breath.

“Move it. Um Rome, Aly do you have to drive with me again? You two together make me uncomfortable. After all you two smell like sex.”

Lenna looked from Aly to Rome, before she shook her head, like you do when you have water in your ears after you went swimming.

What? I don’t wanna drive with Rome? Why not? I like driving with them, they are fun and I might can teach Aly a bit more about hunting.

“I mean, you can drive with me but I’m driving this time. So can we go?”

Aly gulped hard. Was it that obvious? She let her hair fall over her face glad that she'd let it down. Her teeth clamped on her lower lip as the coals turned to flame throwers.

Rome tried to salvage the situation, clapping an arm around her shoulders and asserting with an air of superiority that "It's a small price to pay to further camaraderie and team spirit, so you can just deal." He glared at Elenna and winked apologetically at Aly, but she looked away.

She wished for her own car so she could continue on the hunt without explaining herself or feeling like a cheep whore. Aly grabbed her coffee and bagel feeling like the whole team was watching her every move. She didn't want to go back in the Mustang now...but what other choice was there? Caleb looked over at her burning her up with his glare. There was Barbie?

She turned to Rome, her cheeks deep crimson.

"I ah...I'm going to just ride with Barbie...see ya."

She turned her back to the group and practically ran for the appallingly pink vehicle. She sat back with a deep sigh and turned to slathering her bagel with as much cream cheese as the surface would hold. That good feeling was gone. She felt cold now, like the muggy nor-easter weather outside.

Lenna bit her at her lip when she mumbled. “Sorry I didn’t mean it that way. It was more just for your ears Rome.”

“No need to say sorry. You wanted her to go, you did a good job. I am proud of you, Elle.”

“Don’t use that name.” Lenna turned around to see who actually said it, but no one was there.

"Ooookay, awkward," Rome sighed, sliding into the driver's seat next to Elenna. He shut the door, accepted coffee--which was cold, but whatever--into which he put as much sugar as was available, and stuck two bagels on his fingers.

Rome paused, considering where he was. Hadn't she just insulted--well, no, smelling of sex had always been a prestige thing with him--hadn't she just been trying to insult him? And apparently succeeded with Aly? He pulled out his phone and sent a text to "Scully": Sorry about that, Ill handle it. Lemme know if you need anything. He pushed send and let out a long breath.

Elenna was already driving, a smooth ride considering the speed she was driving at, white-knuckling the wheel, gritting her teeth, and staring straight ahead.

"What the hell was that all about, huh, Elenna? Do you even want me in your freaky car with you? Can I eat in here without you bitching me out?" Rome stopped, reigned it in. Maybe she was upset about something? Was she--

Oh, sh*t.

--jealous? Rome tried again, more tentative this time.

"Okay, look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have blown up like that. You're freaking out because your people are in danger, and I get that. But, I mean...you gotta think about other people, okay? I think you really upset Aly, and you should maybe apologize to her." He laughed, "I mean, you're not Rawson, right? You have people skills. You know better than to go off like that. Is it, like, your girl time, or whatever, because just lemme know and we can adjust. Is there something else you wanna talk about?"

No response. She still stared straight ahead. Rome suddenly didn't want to finish his first bagel, not to mention the second one. Which tended to be a bad sign: when Rome and food didn't get along, bad news, but whatever. It wasn't hard to get carsick when she was flooring it at 85.

"Okay, so what did you find on this hunt?"

She bit her lip lightly as she answered. Mercifully Georgie seemed to hone in on her not wanting to talk about it and kept silent.

Her hands shook from the caffeine as she responded.

A rock to crawl under. Thanks though.

Why did I say that? I know Rome doesn’t mind it when I tease him, but Aly? I shouldn’t upset her. That wasn’t fair she lost everything I should help her not tease her.

Lenna sighed and looked at Rome to see how mad he really was. He had stopped eating but he didn’t look mad.

“I’m sorry, Rome. I don’t know what happened that morning. There are no people I know in Chestertown. I was a freak at High School and well I run away from my Foster parents guess they won’t invite us for tea either. I never wanted to go back, and here I am forcing you to go with me. Can you tell Aly I’m sorry, please?” Lenna started laughing. “And you really wanna know when my girl time is? I’m not sure if I want you to know. Do you like Aly?”

Lenna looked back on the road.

“My sweet little Elle. Always trying to please everyone, aren’t you? The FBI-b*tch deserved what you said and he is a pig how he treats girls. He uses you Elle!”

“Don’t use that name.” Lenna spoke slowly, which was never a good sign. She got angrier each time she heard some calling her Elle.

Georgina had felt an arkward tension among the group, and when she saw how tense Aly stared out of the window she cleared her throat.
"Wanna listen to some music?"

Aly briefly looked at her and shrugged her shoulders. "Fine with me."

"Britney or Christina?"

"Eh...sorry?"

"Oops, I did it again, I played with your heart..." Georgie sang in a high-pitched voice. Aly stared at her in complete shock.
"You - can't - be - serious..."

Georgina grinned. "Just kidding. No Britney in my car." She turned on the radio, while Aly sighed in relief.
Driving in the shiniest pink car I've ever seen, right next to Barbie...This is going to be a fun drive...

“My little girl, not long and we will be together again. I know you will be happy. That is what you want, I know it. You need me. Do you hear me? You need me. That is why you hold on to the past so much. You won’t go without me anywhere.”

He was sitting in the back seat of his beloved Mustang and watching his little girl. The guy next to her bothered him a lot more.

“You are not welcome here. She doesn’t like you. You are not her brother, do you hear me jerk?” Nick was screaming at Rome, even though he wasn’t heard. He punched Rome and knew soon he will feel it just as the other brunette did.

“We are together soon, Elle.”

Morrigan Beretta sat in a diner on the edge of Chestertown, New York. In her had was a letter from her older brother, Shane. It was the first contact they'd had in months.

Sorry I haven't been around much. There's a job going on in Chestertown, NY. Meet me there on Tuesday and I promise I'll try to explain where I've been. -Love Always, Shane

She turned toward the window and looked outside. Shane was late, and for some reason, she knew he'd never had any intention of coming to meet her.

Rome's gut grew heavy inside of him like an angry rock when he received Aly's text: A rock to crawl under. Thanks though. This wasn't supposed to happen, certainly not after a night like that! Rage boiled at Elenna which he managed to keep calm about, especially as she began apologizing.

But topping it off by saying "Don't call me that," when he hadn't called her anything (out loud, anyway) just wasn't helping.

And then he got this weird cold feeling, and a shiver rippled through him as he began to hear what sounded like whispers from the back of the car:

You are not welcome...doesn't like...not her brother...

Rome wheeled around in the seat to observe the back, but nothing was there. Not even someone's iPod that had been left on. He frowned. He was about to ask if Elenna had heard anything before he decided to chalk it up to his haywire brain that liked hearing, seeing, and doing weird things without his permission, and hoped ignoring it might make it go away.

He was really feeling crappy--and not just because of that dejected look on Aly's face, and the glare in Caleb's, and this weird vacant stare he was getting from Lenna. He hadn't even finished half a bagel or a cup of coffee, but he forced the coffee down, knowing sleep was not an option.

He pulled out his phone and replied to Aly. Lenna says shes sorry, dont know whats got into her. And then, as an afterthought, he sent a second one: Dont ever be ashamed of what makes you happy.

"Okay. Jesus Christ, I think I'm gonna puke. When's the next rest stop, Lennie? You're driving like a maniac, chica."

Aly relaxed a little as Georgie put on some actually decent music.

"Thanks, for not asking."

"Sure thing. Though, I'm a bit jealous you got to him first."

Aly turned to face her with raised eyebrows, trying to hold in her laughter.

"Yeah well, we're not committed or anything so I'm sure he'll be knocking on your door soon enough--he seems to favor the wounded first."

Both women laughed. Aly's phone buzzed his responses. Well, she was sorry--that was a start. She sighed at the next one.

You did make me happy. I'm just a private person.

“Wha? Oh sorry. We just left; you already wanna have a rest stop? I thought about stopping in I dunno an hour maybe?”

“See he wants to leave you like everyone does, Elle!”

Lenna turned around and checked the backseat. She was pale and seemed as she needed to hold on to the steering wheel not only because she was driving.

“Rome did you tell Aly I’m sorry? I shouldn’t have said anything. I dunno, I think I was a bit jealous that’s all. Not really of what you’re doing more, but you know not only you had a rough time in the djinn’s world. You were all… werewolves and. I don’t wanna… never mind. I handle things as I always do, right? Alone. We soon stop okay, here some water and if you dare to puke in the car I’ll kill you.”

Lenna blinked a few times to stop herself from crying.

“The sooner you stop the sooner you get rid of him, Elle.”
But I don’t want him to leave. He is my best friend. He is the closest thing to family I have.

“I’m sorry Rome, I dunno I guess the dream world didn’t left me completely yet.”

Caleb

Caleb sat in the cab of his truck - the Fordasaurus, as an old partner had called it. Lily was sitting shotgun, her nose in a book. Caleb was switching songs to find something he could listen to from start to finish, and pissing off the CD changer in the process. He finally settled on AC/DC, Hell's Bells snapping Lily out of her reading trance for all of half a second. The drive carried on in silence as he mentally prepared himself to try going three straight nights with no sleep while hunting whatever left all the blood in the cafeteria. Even if it was just a poorly-thought-out senior prank.

Lily broke the silence, not looking up from the book. "It's perfectly acceptable to me to spend hours in silence while I read, but you might not be as comfortable with that scenario as I am. How do you prefer to pass your time on long drives? And if you need someone to drive for you, I can. It doesn't have to just be you."

Well, that was good. Lenna and Aly's relationship was salvageable. Allison didn't necessarily want to kill him. Elenna seemed to be coming down off her major-bitch-mood. His stomach still hurt, but the water helped.

"Never mind," Rome said. "Let's just get there. I wanna be off the road."

Then he paused and gave thought to what she had said. "And you're not alone, Lennie. I'm with you. I always got your back, kiddo, you know that." He waited. "Right?" He wanted to hear her confirm, but she wasn't listening to him, was zoning out, staring straight ahead again.

"What I mean is, I'm sorry for being a first-class douchebag. I was irresponsible, and you guys saved my ass, and I didn't stop to think at what cost. Anything you...you know...wanna get off your chest?" Rome wasn't sure where this was going, or if she was even listening to him. "So. I'm here. Just so ya know."
